My Mom lives in Kihei, and goes there regularly. Their pedicures are inexpensive and better than any that I've ever had in any five star resort or spa. Their deluxe pedicure includes a sea salt scrub, a seaweed mask and a hot stone rub. The deluxe spa pedicure and manicure are $62 together, but they often have specials.

The Face Place
This small day-spa is in the same strip mall as Stranz. They only have two rooms: one for facials and one for massages. They're good too though.

Spa Grande @ The Grand Wailea Resort
This spa is touted as the biggest and best in Hawaii. In addition to your spa service, you get an hour of terme. The terme includes access to at least 5 different special mud/seaweed/aloe etc baths, a large hot tub, a number of different types of showers and a cold plunge. Just being there is an experience! Marble everything, you feel like royalty.
Note: in my experience about half of the women go in the nude, and half wear swimsuits.
